News - St Petroc's Early Years helping local parents during school holidays

St Petroc's Early Years, a nursery and pre-school setting for children aged 3 months to 4 years based on Ocean View Road in Bude, are delighted to extend their offer to include caring for children up to the age of 8 years during the school holidays, via their new 'Holiday Club'.

Early Years Manager Tahira White, said: “We know that a lot parents locally struggle with childcare during the school holidays, and due to our fantastic location here on Ocean View Rd, access to outside spaces including proximity to Crooklets beach, we are perfectly positioned to be able to help out.”

The setting has recently extended its Ofsted registration to include children up to 8 years of age, so is now able to help out with looking after siblings of children that already attend the setting during the school breaks, plus warmly welcomes those who have not used the setting before.

Tahira added: “We can offer a range of activities, including cooking, sensory play, construction, painting, clay plus trips to Crooklets beach (depending on staffing levels and weather conditions). Half day and full day sessions are available between 8am and 6pm, and can include a delicious lunch which is cooked here on the premises for a small charge, plus a light tea”.
