Little Turtles (0 - 2 years)

 

The Little Turtles section of St Petroc’s School Nursery cares for babies aged 3 months to 2 years.  We understand it can be a difficult time leaving a parent/carer and so we offer settling in sessions before your child starts where he/she is introduced to their Key Person.  The Key Person System is an effective way of ensuring that children develop a strong relationship with a significant adult in the nursery, although all Little Turtles staff are responsible for caring for your child on a day to day basis.

 

Little Turtles have recently refurbished facilities and we offer a variety of age appropriate toys, natural materials and provide messy play such as paint gloop and water. We also have our own garden that is safe and enclosed with plenty of outdoor toys to choose from.

 

Our staff to child ratio is as low as 1:3 and all Little Turtles Key Workers are qualified to NVQ Level 3.
