Thank you for considering joining St Petroc’s School Nursery.

Parents/Carers of prospective Nursery children should arrange to meet with either the Early Years Manager or her Deputy. 

​

Entry relies on places being available in the nursery. In assessing any prospective Early Years children, the nursery may take such advice and require such assessments as it regards as appropriate. Subject to this, we will be sensitive to any requests for confidentiality.

The nursery’s policy is to apply the same admissions criteria to all potential Early Years children regardless of any disability, race, gender or learning needs and including children where English is not their first language. Allowances are made for those with specific learning difficulties and other disabilities will be considered on an individual basis; the nursery will, wherever possible, endeavour to be flexible and it may be possible to make adjustments to its provision for those with a physical disability.

Children between 3 months and 4 years are invited into our Early Years setting for several familiarisation visits of 1-1½ hours and to determine whether the setting is right for them; this is done in consultation with the Early Years Manager and staff.
